Sargent's letter also conveyed the compliments of Mrs. House, Mrs. Trist, General Robert Howe, and Captain Hackett for Reed's kind attentions to them. He also stated that Mrs. Trist would personally attend to Reed's business in Philadelphia with a milliner, and Sargent's servant would personally attend to Reed's business in Philadelphia with a tailor.
