Articles on Confederate President Jefferson Davis; the cotton trade; New Orleans; and Louisiana politics; several telegrams concerning the loss of the steamboat, T. P. LEATHERS, in 1890; and photographs of Thomas P. Leathers and a Dr. Lyle of Natchez, Mississippi, are also included.
