Online resources: Collection description Summary: J. A. Limerick of Rodney was asked by Professor J. M. White of Mississippi Agricultural and Mechanical College to write a sketch of Rodney and vicinity. Prof. White was on the Mississippi Historical Commission and had collected and deposited many manuscripts and printed matter with the Mississippi Historical Society. In this manuscript of six pages, Limerick tells a brief history of the town of Rodney, Jefferson County, and of nearby Oakland College.
